Research Theme: Low-Power and Energy-Scavenged Research Hardware Platforms for Sensor-Driven Systems (Warp, Lax, and Glaux Hardware Platforms)

Warp is a family of hardware platforms developed to aid research in sensing and computing systems that interact with the physical world and which trade accuracy for improved energy efficiency.

Lax (as opposed to strict), an OS- and library-level approach to trade the power dissipated by sensors in exchange for reduced accuracy and reliability, was the first technique in the line of work that eventually led to the Warp platform.
