Error Efficiency

In the same way that systems which only use as much energy as necessary are referred to as being energy-efficient, you can think of systems which only prevent as many errors as they need to as being error-efficient. The term "error-efficient" was coined by Phillip Stanley-Marbell in 2015 and was the title of a short course held over several years at MIT.
